The second wine in the new Seasonal Release range, beautiful scents capture your attention from the outset. A cracking debut Nero d'Avola from O'Leary Walker.
Off four-year-old vines, the finished wine spent six months in old French oak.
Dried purple flowers, violets and a touch of char reach out. Blackberries run deep. Quite smooth and supple, a glass turns into two awfully quickly given its soft touch. A rub of earth and some dried herbs rush late. There's a juicy factor too which keeps the interest levels engaged. A fab rendition of Nero d'Avola.
Drink now to three years.
