Another cracking medium-bodied delight from the Gundog Estate stable. These wines are humming at the moment and this Rare Game 2023 is in great form.
Quite an earthy and savoury type, aromas of dried red flowers are joined by cherry pie, red plums, a flicker of blackberries, char and pan juices. Possessing a dusty mouthfeel, it's drying with a fabulous length. Moreish deluxe, it's a wine to sit alongside and ponder what life has thrown at you. It's very well done.
