Bargain alert! 25 bucks for this Knappstein Malbec is a ripping deal. After a flight of Bordeaux reds, this is the wine I went back to. It's just beautiful.
Loaded with fruit leaving the palate stained with flavour, its joyous tempo keeps you interested and then some. Black fruits and berries are the heroes with a neat support role played by baked raspberries. A wine with smooth lines and serious gravitational pull, some earthiness and a little dark chocolate move slowly into the frame. The finish lingers much longer than expected courtesy of fine spices that complement the fruit. An easy recommendation, go here.
