I am often asked to recommend quality wines which don't break the bank. The wines from Berton Vineyard are great bang for buck deals. Here's another which is sourced from Ebenezer - a Barossa sub region north of the district.
The asking price of $25 is more than reasonable for what you get. Curiously, it is marketed as a limited release, but with 7000 bottles coming off the bottling line, it's more than I would expect for a wine to be labelled as such. But I digress...
Generous and dense purple and black fruit fill the mouth. Toasty oak, hints of coconut husk, licks of vanilla and dark chocolate plus a scattering of baking spices add further appeal. Finishing long with dusty and drying tannins, this is top value drinking.
