One of the first batch of Hunter Valley 2020 Semillons to come across the tasting bench.
Scents of green apple peel and tonic. It comes across thin and watery. Some good textural grip but the fruit is lifeless compared to the anaerobic and energetic Semillons we are so used to seeing fresh out of the Hunter. Under-ripe green apple acidity and lime pith to close but the fruit going MIA drops the bar. I'd prefer others.
