A white wine to warm your heart on a cool night.
Barossa Semillon is quite different to other regions I find. There's certainly more weight and complexity present to the new releases. Here you see a distinct dried grass and nutty character, preserved lemons and lemon balm - plenty of interest with the citrus drive a feature. Mouthfillling width and breadth, a long, long, long finish a cornerstone. Wonderfully balanced acidity with some textural appeal, this is a fabulous wine.
