One thing is for certain, all wines coming out of Yelland & Papps can be guaranteed to be dripping with interest. From the northern Barossa sub-region of Greenock, veneers of pleasure await. Over the course of a couple of days this Shiraz developed beautifully. Think soy, dark chocolate and generous helpings of blackberry pie. The fruit is mouth filling and gives a thrilling ride - roof top down, wind through the hair along winding country roads. There's a "come hither" feel about it and whispers softly yet the restrained power has a magnetism that is hard to refuse. A faint lick of char and smoked meats continue to the draw intrigue. A fabulous Shiraz hands down.
