Marco Cirillo doesn't sell a lot of his Malbec, only because he loves it so much he drinks it all himself. He loves it! Off sandy soils, this a classic example of the variety.
There's plenty going on to enjoy. Think dark berry fruit, blueberries, puffs of earth and powdery feels. A touch of rhubarb enters the fray as does a faint lick of green stems. A meaty drive sits underneath as expected with fine spices scattered across the top. A tart crunch whips in on close. A most enjoyable wine.
Drink to five years.
