It's been a while between cider reviews so this sample was Small Acres in Orange, NSW, was very much welcome. This is a good get for those that enjoy real cider.
Fresh pressed cider apples and dessert apples, there is an unmistakable crunch. Bready complexity a feature, so too is the balanced acidity and sweetness throughout with a lick of sweetness on close. Incredibly refreshing, red apple skin hugs the finish as does a gentle dash of spice. With a hint of texture through the mouth, this is refined and classy.
