Of the two Burton and McMahon Chardonnays, I preferred this D'Aloisio's Vineyard. I just loved the length. It just purrs.
Old school lemonade, barley sugar and raw cashews build the interest early. Soft brioche and almonds and a lemony tang go about their work nicely too. It's so fresh and incredibly easy to make a glass or two disappear yet there is a minerally vibe tucked away adding some savoury sophistication. Embrace the freshness and get into it now. A great Chardonnay.
