Who would have thought a leather-clad, Triumph-riding winemaker could produce a seductive and elegant Rosé? This debut effort is off the chain. Well played Tim Smith!
Smith has a few loves. Mataro is near the top of that list and he has crafted his first-ever Rosé with his beloved variety. It's a ripper deluxe. It's so smashable and perfect for these warmer months. Chill and chug you could say.
Delicate, juicy red berries flood the mouth. Flashes of pomegranate and rhubarb too. White cherries slide in and float atop a bed of creaminess. A hint of earthiness adds more interest. The acidity is wonderfully balanced too. You'd be a hard marker not to love the textural feels here. Onion skin appearance, it's super pretty on the eye too. Super drinking for $25, dive into this with pike.
