Another beauty from Burton McMahon. These 2022 releases are humming and this D'Aloisio's Vineyard is no exception.
A Chardonnay that walks down the lean and pristine road, there is a pulse of lemon and grapefruit that beats away beautifully. White fleshed nectarines and some pear drive through the mid-palate with terrific support from the flicker of match stick, raw cashews, wafers and vanilla cream adding interest. The super fine pitter-patter of ginger spice drives long on a persistent finish. Classy stuff.
Drink to eight years.
