Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Reserve 2019

Xavier Bizot again proves he is the premier wine producer from the Wrattonbully region. This Vineyard Reserve deserves its time in the cellar. Do that and your patience will be rewarded deluxe.

Made with the best parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc (62/119/19), its presence and shape point to a long and rewarding life ahead.

Expressive as only Bizot knows how, scents of grilled nuts, church pew and leather scents rise up with cameos of cedar and some camphor. There is even a scent of wild mushroom umami. A couple of days on and wow! Blackcurrants and dense plums speak proudly with softened edges. Their drive and allure are superb. Dried herbs add savoury nuances. The tannins are powdery and dusty scattering through the mouth with ease. That length and that mouthfeel elevate this wine with every sip. Brilliant!
