If you like your Chardonnay with some oak, this is waiting for you with open arms. Generously layered with a persistent finish, there is a lot going on.
Barbecue peach, grilled figs and roasted nuts feature large. Jersey caramel and matchsticks aren't far away from the action either. Pressed to new and older French oak where it spends 10 months post fermentation, the mouth is coated generously with a white peach drive surging through the middle. That nuttiness folds its way back through with a ginger biscuit finish that lingers. I'd be curious to see this with more bottle age.
