This Rosby Wines Rosé is made with Shiraz. Personally, Shiraz is not my preferred grape to be used for this style of wine and it proves this once more with this release.
Red apple and rhubarb are the main players with a red apple crunch. To my surprise, the mid-palate is quite lean but it is a tense wine. Maybe a little angry. It certainly needs some food by its side to calm it. The acid curls up leaving me at 6s and 7s. Maybe a meat board or pizza will answer my questions?
