Rarely do wines have me sitting on the fence, but I'm a bit Natalie Imbrulia on this one (torn).
Check out that colour! I've said it a few times previously, but I do like to see Pinot Gris wines with a blush and this one nails the brief with its slight onion skin tone. Winning!
It's a wine with a rounded presence as it rolls about with ease. Golden apple, pie apple and spiced pears fly the flag. It gives off those oxidatively handled vibes, which may turn a few away, and that probably had me second-guessing the wine as a result. Cinnamon and brown spices tense up on a long finish that ever so slowly brings the mouth to water. It goes okay, but I suspect a niche market would favour it.
