A wine of density and power, yet it possesses a welcoming embrace. What a beauty!
The Cabernet component has its fingerprints all over this blend with Malbec playing a secondary role. Squishy blackcurrants, juicy plums, dark chocolate and mint build a wine with an attractive shape and dried herb presence. Soft spices add another dimension of interest. Tense, tight-knit dusty tannins give an insight into a long future and this was proven over a few days of tasting, where it developed beautifully yet demonstrated clearly that age will not weary it. I'd have no hesitation recommending this wine.
