Mudgee Cabernet from 630 metres above. Good stuff this.
Some tension in the mouth suggests this will age well. Having seen 14 months in a mix of new and old French and American oak, there's some good structure present. Full-bodied, black and blue fruits are partnered by roasted peppers and a soft touch of leather. Dried herbs, mint and some oak spice add further interest. Give it some time in the cellar and it should continue to improve nicely.
