I started off really enjoying this but the finish just lacks the polish I was seeking.
There's good dark fruit and some raspberry plus a smattering of dried herbs but the finish is hard. It's got a warmth to it that's difficult to shake. Some bitter dark chocolate pushes through with blood orange before firm tannins hit and stick. Already with three years under its belt, I doubt it will improve significantly in the years to come.
Drink to five years.
