Delicious Durif from the cool climes of the Granite Belt.
Scents of black tea plus a dab of fruit sweetness with curtains blue and purple fruit slowly rolling down the glass. Density comes in spades, that's for sure. Fine spices rattle home late with aniseed and flecks of sage leaving a cocoa and powdery tannin to close. Longevity is in this wine's genes and kicking on for ten years plus is not out of the question.
