Big love here. A fabulous Cabernet from Victoria's Bendigo region.
A wine that slides down with ease, it opened up beautifully. Tense and drying early before black currants and dense plums took the reins. There is savoury delish for days - think black earth, char, burnt ends, dried herbs and a bay leaf character often seen in Margaret River Cabernet. Above all, it just feels good as it caresses every crevice of the mouth. Powdery and cocoa-like tannins wrap up a wine that will live long. Great stuff!
