Silky, curvaceous and utterly slurpable, the score for this Jericho Kuitpo Adelaide Hills Syrah kept creeping up the longer it was open. And over three days of tasting, it was absolutely humming.
10% whole bunches were used before seeing seasoned French oak.
Supple with cuddly spices, dark berries, plump cherries and freeze dried strawberry fruit throw a lasso around your soul and lure you closer as the well-handled oak allows the fruit to shine. Dark chocolate and puffs of earth add terrific savoury appeal with the flicker of dried rose petals. Fine satin like tannins spread through the mouth effortlessly demonstrating polish and class. Draining a few glasses is an easy task. Great stuff!
