Tasted alongside its Barossa Shiraz sibling, which I preferred of the two, there is no denying this McLaren Vale's credentials. It does possess a firmer acidity and tension, but the flood of plums and dark cherries with flickers of red berries and a fine veil of exotic spices keeps you coming back. Tick!
