For $23, the Sticks Cabernet Sauvignon offers you a very tidy expression from the Yarra Valley. Black fruits, herby delights and a long finish have the "buy me" lights illuminated brightly.
Blackberries, blackcurrants and plums walk hand in hand with spearmint, bay leaf, dried herbs and flickers of licorice. It's a wine without the show pony tag, yet it commands respect through its humility and composure. An easy drinking style to appease more than its fair share of punters, it has a sundowner at the campground swagger. Tidy stuff and the best of the Sticks range.
