There's some meatiness and earthy characters capturing my attention. Sure there are roast peppers, black fruits and dried herbs too, but there's a density which grabs you with two hands. A touch firm in the mouth, this is ready for that Sunday night roast beef. As the slogan says, 'wines for eating', that boxed has definitely been ticked. Thumbs of from me.
