"Welcome to the Barossa and have a Shiraz," is what this wine is all about according to winemaker Stuart Bourne. He's nailed it too - this is a great representation of what the Barossa has to offer.
A blend of Shiraz from the Barossa Valley floor, north, west and the hills facing south - all four points of the Barossa compass.
Spiced plums and blue fruits run riot. Smooth melted chocolate ripples through the mouth. There's some heft and density here before baking spices curl around the mouth urging you to return for more. Steak night done easy. Great stuff.
Drink now to eight years.
