Be sure not to serve this too cold so you can enjoy it at its best. It opens with a flurry of interest, think brulee, Portuguese tart, lemon juice and whispers of pineapple husk. White fleshed stonefruit, cut apple as ribbons of vanilla cream flow through the core thanks to barrel fermentation. The oak certainly raises its hand and lovers of oaky Chardonnays will be smitten here. Bright acidity keeps the frame in good shape with a lengthy finish to consider. Nicely done from this reliable producer.
