A thrilling expression from the Mornington Peninsula, this is another excellent Tuerong Chardonnay from Montalto.
I'm here for the concentration. It's a captivating adventure that reels you closer as though woven from one single silk sheet. Broader and creamier than its The Eleven sibling, white fleshed nectarines are the main act with barbecued peach, flecks of custard apple and brown nashie pear sliding in. Yellow grapefruit acidity brings the mouth to water with almonds, raw cashews and nougat adding detail. Ribbons of vanilla cream and a little dash of caramel drive through the core. Elegant and fine ginger spices frame the finish, but I can't help but embrace the fruit purity and depth as I eagerly rush to dive back once more. It's a wine that carries itself with a graceful ambience and deserves all the praise that comes its way.
Drink to eight years.
