Stewed blueberries, red cherries and red plums open the account. I get the sense that its body has some ADHD fighting the frame it's in. It wants to get out and party but the sensible side is calling for calm. And settle it does. The longer it sits, the better it looks. Steak and pan juices add some savoury nuances as does a peppery spice. Sooty and dusty like tannins ride long on a persistent finish. It's a wine you can turn to knowing you'll have an enjoyable glass in your hand.
