It sees 40% new French oak yet it holds its shape and presence much better than the 'entry level' Chardonnay. The fruit drives with purpose and fills the mouth with ease. Peaches and pie apples with cinnamon dusted about. Some melted butter, vanilla and roasted nuts add further pleasure with some ginger rolling in late. The depth is captivating yet it's not heavy handed. Top me up - it's an excellent wine.
