Dense and with more weight than others in the Dalrymple Single Site range, there is a concentration and focus to this Coal River Pinot Noir.
Unlike previous releases I've seen, this is straight up and down. A wine that does the job well, but the lights are on and the party hasn't started yet.
Those muted feels will have guests staring into their glasses hopeful for excitement. Notwithstanding, it's a respectable Pinot highlighted by red and dark cherries, red apple and cola. Woodsy and Christmas cake spices along with some cedar add interest, but when your siblings have the glitz and glamour, that's where you want to be. You'll find me dancing with Ouse.
