Angove Warboys Vineyard Shiraz 2015

Certified biodynamic and organic methods have been used in the Warboys vineyard for the last eight years although the vineyard was planted in 1948. Whole bunches (25%) were used, as was cold soaking for three days and wild yeast fermentation. The wines sat in second and third use French oak puncheons for about ten months.

Choc raspberry tart, berry coulis, black fruits, baking spices, and white pepper all add some personality. An enticing depth is alluring, succulent and persistent. Dark fruits plus the pepper and spices compliment each other with ease presenting a wine which calls for another sip. And another. I'd happily go here again.

Drinking well now but will cellar long term.
