A dry Rosé (bloody dry!) which needs food at its side. There's no way I'd have this by itself. It needs a wingman so I had this with burgers sitting by the water at sunset and they complimented each other well.
There's good red fruit in the form of strawberries, cherries and cranberry. Made from Sangiovese, it's tight but finishes long and crisp but with a tart edge.
That dryness is the detractor though. A good Rosé for me should have chug factor without the need for food to balance it out.
