It seems the approach to Rosé at Ridgemill Estate has been shaken up a little - for the better too I must say. This is dotting the i's and crossing the t's with what a modern and scrumptious Rosé should look like.
Made from Merlot left on skins before being pressed off with a dollop of Mourvedre.
Whiffs of tangelo and orange peel, sour cherries plus strawberries and cream. Textural appeal drives through the mid-palate filling the mouth delicately before a drying savoury finish with a cute apricot kernel twist at the death. Could I suggest it's smashable on a hot day? Wipe your brow and rehydrate with a super chilled glass of this.
