Levantine Hill Chardonnay 2015

When the postman turns up with Levantine Hill samples I'd be lying if I said I'm not excited. Their Chardonnay has always captivated me so I couldn't resist but to leap to this. And here we go again, enjoyment factor and quality is sky high.

Nothing is left to chance and the purity of the fruit here cannot be understated.

I was only recently discussing examples of fine boned Chardonnay and this falls right into the slot. A swirl of the glass and fleshy yellow stone fruits leap out. Delicate cashew nuttiness and red apple peel draw some attention. A rattle of butterscotch, a scrape of vanilla cream and an ever so slight hum of ginger spice. Super long to finish, this is all class. Chardonnay purists would devour this.

Drink now to 8 years.
