Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz 2015

I don't see many Grant Burge wines. A glass of this was plonked in front of me at a pub as we sat around having a steak. After then being handed the wine list, on paper this appeared the best wine on offer.

Two-toned, one glass was enough for me. Berry fruits were heavy. A fair whack of oak stealing the limelight in the end. Chocolate and char come and go. It sticks to the mid palate and doesn't venture to the back. Cocoa like tannins dry the mouth with a citrus acidity coming late. You can do better for the money.

Drink now to six years.
