Schild Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Chief Viticulturalist Michael Schild's sexy hairy pins adorn the label of this Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon.

Blackberry jam, roasted red capsicum, ratatouille and hot salami pique my interest from the outset. In the mouth it's warm and broad. Dried raisins and dark plums but there's jamminess is hard to escape. Some cedar pokes through before a spicy yet softish to finish. Seems a bit all over the place in some respects yet there is a fluency. Take it or leave it.

Drink now to five years.
