Airlie Bank Franc 2017

Tim Shand has nailed this style. There's no Cabernet Franc like it. Moreish and ridiculously juicy, it's the business. As per the back label, "Bottled whilst bursting with fruit and juvenile charm."

Wild, funky, fruity - delicious!

100% whole bunch and weighing in at only 12.5%, this is such a delightful medium bodied number.

Juicy is certainly the word with some acidity crunch for good measure. Whiffs of twigs, clove and a late charge from Ribena before blue and purple fruits glide through with a fine spice tickle at the death. Bloody moreish. I could drink buckets of this. A great wine for those keen to step outside their comfort zone for a relatively inexpensive outlay. Run to this.

Drink now to three years.
