A clever wine that continued to nestle into a neat groove over a couple of days. A big tick handed out with big pours the order of the day.
A small portion of whole bunches were used to deliver a wine of complexity and impressive drive.
Black forest, kirsch, dark cherries and dark plums all combine beautifully to sit at the core. Flashes of dark chocolate and well positioned oak peel off more layers of interest with a soothing spice to finish.
Great stuff Duncan Cook - the consumer the winner here.
