Valentine Grenache 2016

Heathcote Grenache from the 25 year old Shelmerdine vineyard. A good slurp and a different take on the variety offset from McLaren Vale and Barossan styles.

Blackcurrant leaf, raspberry, dark plum and spice and all things nice sum this up best. Not dumbed done. Not confected. Red cherry and then some rhubarb swoon on in framed well by a cheeky spice.

A versatile wine for a range of foods from pizza and pasta to roast pork.

Drink now to five years.
