Shottesbrooke Estate Merlot 2015

A combination of two, three and four year old French and American oak was used to help the fruit sing. Good drinking McLaren Vale Merlot.

Good fruit and a dash of spice make up a solid core. Whiffs of tomato bush and grilled capsicum move to soothing dark plums and dark cherry. That spice swings into action on a long finish.

Merlot fans can sit back and relax with this one. A straight bat played well.

Drink now to five years.
