The freshness and vibrance of the fruit got me enthused. Quite an introduction, this Castello di Nieve Dolcetto d'Alba 2022 is in great shape after three years.
Without a splinter of oak in sight, the fruit does all the talking and is highlighted by cherries, mulberries, and forest berries. Soft spices reach through the palate with the low tannin profile heightening its approachability. A frame of good acidty shapes the palate and I suspect this will continue to impress for the next few years yet. Very nicely done.
Drink to five years.
