From a warmer vintage comes this eye-catching entry-level Barbera from Vietti.
Tasted at the cellar door with Vietti's winemaker Eugenio Palumbo, this is Barbera captured in a very neat parcel.
Sour cherries, plums and dried purple flowers are the main players. It's a wine with focus yet delivers a playful side. The acid is bright with flecks of chocolate and fine spices making themselves known late. Red cherries have the last word lingering on a moreish finish. Yes please!
