Angullong Crossing Reserve Shiraz 2013

This is Angullong's new flagship wine - only two hundred dozen were produced. Aged for twelve months in French oak, it spent another eighteen months in bottle prior to release.

Beautifully fragrant - cherry vodka, red berries, macerated black cherries, cedar and dried herbs.

Fine pepper, brightish acid sits proud, this is built for the long haul. More time in the glass helped this  find its mojo. Plums and plentiful graceful fruit nestled in, this is on the road to satisfaction town.

Give it a year or two before getting stuck in. Time will be your friend here, a long term aging prospect without doubt.

Very good+
