This is Montalto’s entry level Pinot.
All the usual Pinot characters are present but the flavours are a little more concentrated. Strawberry, strawberry jam, dark cherries kick around.
After being open for a few hours a peppery aroma arrives adding another dimension along with some earthy characters on the palate finishing with slippery tannins.
Fruit is soft and well balanced but nothing to make you scream from the rooftops. It’s just a good drink.
