Shottesbrooke Jenkins Vineyard Shiraz 2013

A single vineyard wine from a newly acquired vineyard. The vineyard itself has been long established and is owned by the local optometrist, Dr Jenkins, which happens to be on the main drag in The Vale I'm reliably informed.

Dark fruits, dirty road, leather and some meaty salami like characters too.
Its powerful and fills the palate. There's a spicy buzz motoring through the core. Give it some air to shine but from top to toe it carries a smooth swagger.
Soft tannins to finish.

Keep for ten by good to go now.

Very good.
