Rymill Coonawarra Gewurztraminer 2013

A sip of this and I'm thinking something Thai inspired.

Nicely aromatic but nothing to swat you in the face. Typical rose water, fresh lychees, some citrus and a sweetish cinnamon spice.

Take a swig and its dry. That Turkish Delight rosewater thing comes to play but the lychee hit plays the lead role. I liked that. A dash of spice at the death is a neat touch too. The fruit just seemed a little thin on the mid palate - but that's just being over analytical. On the whole it presents pretty well.

Yeah, those Thai flavours would go down a treat.
