Cook's Lot 'Lot 1111' Pinot Noir 2014

I could see myself getting friendly with this Pinot. Sure it's not the greatest Pinot out there but gee it's a good drink. The price makes it more attractive too.

It's light in the glass and smells like a cool climate Syrah in part. It tastes like one too.

Light also in the mouth there's savoury appeal here with a smattering of strawberry and cherry fruit. Length is good and the lick of spice on the finish entices another sip.

Enjoyable indeed and a bargain for $20.

Drink in the short term.
