The wine just seemed to lack life and vibrancy.
Typical characteristics were present such as leather, earth, black fruit and even some beef jerky, but the palate was flat an lacked interest. I'm not suggesting that for $70 you need fireworks going off, but I was picturing myself skipping around the room sipping this praising the masses for The Dead Arm. I sat slumped in the chair scratching my head instead. What I tasted just didn't match the price point.
Chewy acid and dry fruit, the length was not as plump nor did it arouse much excitement.
Three days on there was little to no change from day one.
Sadly, not a wine I'd recommend.
