Major Kong Syrah 2014

Helloooo funky town.

We've got a wild one here. 100% whole bunches are used in this medium bodied beauty.

Skinsy and bunchy (not surprisingly) on the nose. Some greenness from the stems lobs up but there's little to no impact. Roasted capsicum ratatouille, pizza sauce, and a little smokey, there's plenty happening here. To add further interest for your drinking pleasure, you'd be keen to know there has been no sulphur added. None during making. Not even prior to bottling.

Insanely smooth, it's a great medium bodied Syrah but the bunches fill it out giving the impression there is more to it.

A dusting of pepper spice rides through subtly and finishes gently.

No doubt this would not be everyone's cup of tea but it is sure impress the adventurous.

Medium term cellaring.

Very good.
